Basil Lemonade #2
INGREDIENTS
~ 16 oz. Whole Lemon🍋 Lemonade
8 oz. Hendricks Gin
8 Basil Leaves
4 dashes Angostura Bitters
Ice🧊 Cubes
2 Basil Double-Leaf Sprigs
WHOLE LEMON🍋 LEMONADE RECIPE INGREDIENTS
2 Lemons🍋
3/4 c. Granulated Sugar
2 c. Ice🧊
6 c. Water💦
WHOLE LEMON🍋 LEMONADE RECIPE PREPARATION
- Quarter, Seed and remove the core of the Lemons🍋.
- Add Ice🧊, Water💦, Sugar and Lemons🍋 to a blender.
- Blend until smooth
- Strain through a fine sieve.
PREPARATION
- Add Ice🧊 Cubes to a pint glass to 3/4 full.
- Add Gin and Basil to a Mixer Tin.
- Muddle Basil Leaves & Gin until bruised.
- Add 2 large ice cubes and muddle Basil and gin further until sufficiently bruised.
- Strain through a sieve the Gin/Basil mixture; half of the amount into each Pint Glass.
- Add Whole Lemon🍋 Lemonade to top off the each Pint Glass.
- Add 2 dashes of Bitters to each Pint Glass.
- Stir each Pint Glass for 15-seconds.
- Garnish with a Basil Double-Leaf Sprig.
